Dane - Director of Finance
As director of finance at B and B, Dane gets to work in several aspects of the business. From overseeing payroll and insurance, to working on acquiring vehicles and equipment. Dane is also always ready to jump into the bus and drive a run when he is called upon. He also manages the transportation program for Hopkins School in New Haven.
Dane loves getting to work in an industry that allows him to serve the community.
Like all jobs, Dane says there are challenges such as working with parents, drivers, students, teachers, and administrators to come together as a cohesive unit to solve a problem. Dane charges at this full speed because he knows that the company needs to be solutions based in order to best serve our customers.

Dane lives in Wallingford with his wife and their two children. He attended Norwich University and worked in insurance briefly before joining the management team at B and B in 2015.
Lashawn started her driving career as a long-haul trucker after getting her CDL A. After a few years she decided to switch to driving the school bus.

Her favorite part about working for B and B Transportation is the flexible schedule. Her fellow employees are outstanding and management communicates well and understands her needs.
LaShawn - Bus Driver (Bethany, CT)
Brian- Senior Operations Specialist
Brian comes from Puerto Rico and has worked from B and B Transportation since 2019. Brian works in our Bethany Operations Center and also drives the bus.
Brian loves driving the bus and seeing the happy and excited faces of the kids as they get on the bus.
When asked if he would recommend B and B Transportation to people looking to change companies he said “Absolutely! It’s amazing working in this company, drivers and staff members are great.”
In addition to working at B and B, Brian is currently studying theology in college.
Thomas- Bus Monitor (East Haven, CT)
Tom has been with B and B for two years but has worked in the industry for 7 years now. As a bus monitor Tom is responsible for 15 special needs students that ride on his bus. Tom communicates with parents and school staff to make sure that everyone is well informed. He also makes sure students are safe and all of their needs are attended to.
Tom loves working at B and B. He enjoys a flexible schedule, pleasant supervisors, and good equipment.
Tom is an avid musician and has performed at churches for over 20 years. His flexible schedule allows him time to rehears and perform. “I am into working hard, setting high goals, and reaching them!”
